Updated the Web page - As of 09 Nov 2011, the data on the Nimenefeld page is as current as it can be
New "What's New" page - As of 14 Sep 2011, we have added a new "What's New" page
Nimenefeld Fighter Practice Facebook Page - As of 25 Aug 2011 Sir Finn has created a Facbook page to keep the fighters old and new in communications.
Canton of Nimenefeld Facebook Page - As of 12 Sep 2011 Lady Elspeth has created a Facbook page to keep everyoneold and new in communications.
Constructing Viking clothing for Ymir - We are going to use a couple of meetings to make viking clothing for the members of our canton that need garb for Ymir. Newcomers will be helped with cutout and sewing
Nimenefeld Fighter Practice YouTube vids - This should be great for recruiting and training.
New Members - We have gotten several new members and what's great is that they are interested in learning the officers jobs.
Arts and Sciences at Meetings - We are having knitting, jewelry, bead work, etc. at our meetings. Email Lady Elspeth Macalpin to find out what's being done at the next meeting.
Nimenefeld Calendar - We have created a calendar page to keep people curent on what is going on in the canton.
Future What's New -
Selling Food at the Tourney of Ymir - Since Nimenefeld is rumored to be Anglo-Saxon for "Bake Sale" we're thinking of bringing them back. Really because we have so many "gode" cooks in our canton we would sell more than just baked goods. Although we haven't cleared it through the Barony yet, we would like to sell a plethora of foodstuffs at the Tourney of Ymir.
Fighter Interviews - Sir Finn and Lady Zita have come up with a plan to interview some of the fighters on video to let people known who they are and why they fight. It should be great fun and informative.
History Page - We have been keeping records and notes since before we were a canton. We could put up a page to let everyone see our history before we lose it.
Seneschal and Exchequer Page - This would be a place to put the reports and other official documents, such as laws and policies.
Photo Page - Since A&S is happening all around us and fun is being had at practices and events we will be putting up a photo page to share the fun with everyone.
MatO in the future - As you probably known, we had to cancel this year's Midnight at the Oasis. So that next year's event will come off better we have an autocrat and several positions filled already. We are putting our best efford into it next year.
MatO 2011 WebPage - As part of our effort to make MatO 2011 a really cool event, Scott is going to start putting the webpage together.
